Model: From a section sketch

This is a sketchup model of one of my sketches.

The top word is distinctive, as it stands tall and protruding into the skyline.

The bottom is organic, resembling the roots of the building which provide support.

A: My Artwork

This is my year twelve major work. The artwork consists of three canvases placed side by side. It is an appropriation of the sydney skyline, and how the water captures the lights of the city during the night.

B: Great piece of Architecture

This is a castle found in L'aquila, my home town near Rome in the Abruzzi Mountains. The castle was built in 1532, during the Spanish domination of southern Italy, and planned by the Spanish architect Pirro Aloisio Scivà. The walls at the base of the structure are 10 meters thick and 5 meters thick at the top. It is now the national museum of

Abruzzo.

This is a photo I took up in the Blue Mountains, it was part of a friend's house surrounded by dense vegetation.
